How do I book a cleaning?
Easy. Hit the "Book" tab, fill out the form, and we will reach out to confirm your date and time & get more information as soon as possible.
How far in advance should I book services?
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date & time.
What areas do you serve?
Shimmer Shine Cleaning Co. mainly rolls through Hemet, San Jacinto, Canyon Lake, Moreno Valley, Banning, Beaumont, Menifee, Murrieta, & Temecula. If you're a little farther out, just ask- we're pretty flexible.

How long does a cleaning take?
Depends on your home size and the type of cleaning. But typically most appointments take between 6-8 hours.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yep! We always show up stocked with name brand cleaners, with and/or without bleach, eco & pet-friendly options as well (if requested), tools, and gear. If you have product preferences, we will totally use yours!
What's the difference between a deep clean and a basic house cleaning?
A basic house cleaning focuses on routine maintainene such as dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
Deep Cleaning inclludes detailed tasks like baseboards, buildup removal, inside the oven, light fixtures & ceiling fans, etc.
What's your cancellation policy?
Notice Requirement
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled service time.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.
Same-Day Cancellations/No Show
Say-day cancellations, failure to provide access, or no-shows may result in a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service amount.
Lockout Policy
If our team arrives and is unable to enter the property due to:
Client absence
Locked doors
Unsecured pets
Alarm issues
A lockout fee may apply.
Recurring Clients
Recurring service clients may cancel ongoing service with written notice prior to their next scheduled visit.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the recurring schedule.
Emergencies
We understand that genuine emergencies occur. Situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at management’s discretion.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
We understand plans change! Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your cleaning. We'll work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule.
What if something breaks?
Accidents can happen, but don't worry- we take great care in every home. If any damage occurs during our services, please let us know right away by asking for a Incident Report Form . We'll assess the situation and work with you to resolve it fairly.
Can I be home while you clean?
Totally fine. Most people are, but if you won't be home, just arrange entry and/or lockup ahead of time.
Should I pick up before the cleaning services?
It's not required, but picking up personal items can help us clean more efficiently and thoroughly.
Do you clean homes with pets?
Absolutely. We are total animal people. Just let us know what furry friends you have ahead of time so we can come prepared. We also offer pet- friendly cleaning supply options!
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, debit/credit cards, Venmo, CashApp, Stripe, and PayPal.
How much do services cost?
There's a flat rate for each service. But that price can change due to the size of the property, the condition of the space, & add-ons. Final pricing may be confirmed after reviewing your booking details.
When is payment due?
Deposit, which is 25% of the entire price of the service, is due at booking confirmation and then the rest of the cost is due at the time of the service. For membership plans, payment is automatically charged monthly.
Do you offer discounts for membership plans?
Yes! We offer special pricing for Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, & Host cleaning membership plans.
What is decluttering & organizing?
This service helps simplify & organize your home by sorting belongings, removing excess clutter, & creating easy-to-maintain organization systems.
Do you offer judgment-free decluttering services?
Yes. Services like Mental Health Decluttering & Hoarder Decluttering are provided with compassion. patience, & respect.
Mental Health Decluttering- FAQs
No. This service is not therapy & does not replace mental health care. It is a supportive, practical decluttering service designed to create a calmer physical environment, which many people find emotionally relieving.
Never. This is a shame-free, judgement-free service. Messy, cluttered, unfinished, or overwhelming spaces are exactly why this service exists. You are safe here.
That's completely okay. We move at your pace, take breaks when needed, & adjust the session based on how you're feeling. There is no pressure to push through discomfort.
You don't need a plan. We'll gently choose one small, manageable area together & go from there. Even small progress can bring noticeable relief.
